3X 60 Day Visa?

Featured Replies

I have a 3 x 60 day tourist visa and was wondering a) do I need a return flight booked somewhere for the end of the first 60 days? even if I dont use it, just to show the airline. and B) do I have to leave the country by air to get the next 60 days entry activated or can I do it by land? Thanks

Also some people spoke about extening the 60 day entrys, how do you do that.

a) No

B) Can also be done by land

Each of the three 60-day permissions to stay can be extended by 30 days. Apply at any immigration office in Thailand.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Thanks man.

But be aware all entries must be used before the expiration date of the visa itself.

Lopburi, isn't 6 months for expiration of triple entry visa? So you would only get to your second 60+30 visa and you'd be unable to use the third as it would have expired?

If you activated the third one, say 170 days into the possible 180days/6months, could you stay beyond the expiration of 6 months since you'd activated the third one within the 6 months? Sorry to hijack someone elses thread but thought as it was related to what you'd kindly replied to on my thread I would ask.

The final entry must be made before the Visa expires.

If you extend each entry at Immigration you would get a stay of almost 9 months with a triple entry.

You would probably lose a few days of your second extension.

As said visa only has to be valid for entry - not for period of stay which is determined/entered by immigration on entry.
