Hi all

I need help reference my fiancee and 3 year old sons visa appeal forms.

They have both been refused twice in the last 2 months for family visit visas,

so along with extra supporting evidence we are appealing the decision..

my questions are:

Do i complete my sons appeal form as his father as i did his application, if so do i sign the applicant declaration or other?

Do we send my fiancee and sons appeals together in the same envolope, along with one copy of each supporting document as they are obviously traveling together?

On the appeal form it asks in section 2, name of decision making post.. would this be the british embassy bangkok as we applied via vfs there?

Also method of service by ECO..post..fax..courier.. other.. i believe i mark other as my fiancee collected from regent house..

Anyone who can help us with these questions will be greatly appriciated as we now have 10 days to post the appeals.

and desperatly what them to be without mistake..

Calling the vfs advice line is a waist of time as i called 3 oclock thai time and the message said no one is avalible!! opening hours are 8.30 to 4.30?!!

: kind regards mark

I think I know the answers, but like yourself am not sure on some of them and do not want to give you the wrong information. Hopefully one of the professionals will be along to advise soon.

However, one question. Why apply for a visa for your son? Assuming that you are British then so is he. In which case what he needs is a British passport, not a visa.

True this would have been alot easier if he had his passport british already. saving me over 300 pound in visa fees for him alone!!

this will be my next step after the appeal has been made.

i am currently in thailand until the end of may and would like my fiancee and son to travel with me.

our appeal i believe is strong due to added info etc

but as you say i need make sure the appeals are correctly completed..

best regards mark
