Although I live in Khon Kaen I'll be out of town for the next couple of months and need to find out if the " 400k in the bank " option through marriage is for 2 months or 3 at KK immi. I've tried calling the phone numbers I've got for KK immi but they're never answered. Anybody who's extended in KK recently can give me the lowdown because I seem to recall that last year it was 3 months.

I just extended my Non-Imm O (marriage) for another year. The money had to be in for two months, and also they added another paper to be filled out which I have never had to fill out before. It is the police check, which is written in Thai and has all the questions you would need for a police check. Mothers name, fathers name, how many children your mother had, how you met your wife, where, etc. I had my wife fill it out and she was quite confused on some questions such as what I do at home. She wanted to say I worked at the farm, or worked in the village (helping around mostly), but I said don't put "work" anywhere.

Yes. Also had to fill in that form.

BTW you are extending you permision to stay not a Visa. That died long ago.
