15Day Visa'S

Featured Replies

As a Uk citizen I received a 30 day visa on arrival. We can get a one time only 10 day visa extension for 2100 baht at any immigration! Fact! But i did a visa run to Cambodia yesterday and received a 15 day visa stamp after my 30 day stamp! Can I still receive the 10 Day extension from a 15 day visa?? Thanks in advance :-)

Dunno where you got your numbers from :(

It's actually 7 days and provided you have a ticket out I see no reason why not, cost is 1900 Baht at immigration.

By the way, you don't have a Visa on Arrival (that's only for a very specific group of countries) as a Brit you get a 30 day visa exemption (or 15 if at a land crossing).

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

As said before arriving wihtout visa 30 day VOA via air and 15 day VOA via landborder.

Both VOA can be extended by 7 days at immigration office. ( 1900 Baht )

Those are visa exempt entries and can not be extended; but immigration will normally allow 7 days under review if you make an extension of stay application (which in effect allow you to stay) but may require show of air ticket out.

I've actually got an open ticket that I would have changed after I've been given the extra 7 days! So I'll decide wether or not to try & get the 7 when I'm in Pattaya! Currently in Koh Chang after my visa run! Thanks for all your helpful posts, very helpful indeed! :-)
