Global Breast Awareness Campaign Comes To Pattaya

Featured Replies

Global Breast Awareness Campaign comes to Pattaya.

During the month of October there is a global breast awareness campaign taking place which is sponsored by a number of major international companies who are helping to spread the word of this potentially fatal desease. The symbol for the global breast cancer awareness campaign is a pink ribbon. To publicize the Pink Ribbon campaign, which aims to raise funds globally for cancer research as well as increase public awareness of breast cancer, publicity events such as this one at the Sanctuary of Truth in Naklua are taking place. At this event, Dr. Shardree, Director-General of the National Physicians Association addressed the local media and explained the campaign which aims to reduce the numbers of breast cancer related deaths in Thailand and the rest of the world. This will include mobile breast-screening units which will tour Thailand and will offer free examinations.

Well, I'd......

oh pffft, let someone else make the obvious comment.

I don't need a campaign to make me aware of breasts in Pattaya.

Will that do? :o

I for one am more than happy to be a mobile breast screening unit , got to do your bit. :o

Not going to make fun of this one. It is important that the information gets out there. A good Thai friend of mine just told me that his wife had a radical masectomy but because she did have regular exams it was caught in its' early stages.

Well, I'd......

oh pffft, let someone else make the obvious comment.

They couldn't help themselves :o
