Hi, Is it possible to arrange a 60 day visa at the immigration office, suvarnabhumi international. I tried to obtain a visa, (I live in perth WA,)

by sending my details to Sydney, but they replied to me and said that I have to apply in person. (to far to go 4-5 hrs on the plane)

A visa can only be gotten from a consulate/embassy. At the airport you will only get a permission to stay for 30 days, but the ailine won't take you with them unless you have a ticket out of the country.

Check some other Thai consulates in Australia, to see if they will accept an application by mail.
