just a quikie as title says will be flying into Hanoi can I get visa in Bangkok in a couple off hours or is it a 1 day turnaround

get to the embassy before 10am get it back after 4pm same day for single entry; multi takes a couple of days. or at least it did last time i did it.

I just did an online. The letter of approval was back within 24 hours. The cost was $20, plus $25 to pay at Hanoi on arrival. I used a company called Myvietnam visa - they were very efficient ( and had good write ups on Trip Advisor and elsewhere ).

Since I wanted to fly out of Vientianne anyway ,I went to the Vietnam embassy there .They open at 10 am . I put $50 on the table for an express visa and had my passport stamped quicker than I was able to fill out the application form .

Quickest visa I had in my lifetime .
