Tot Internet Tariffs

Featured Replies

hi guys,

does anyone know the exact tariffs available and their prices from tot. today i seen a mass of advertising outside their offices. it says up to 3mb 390 baht , up to 6mb 590 baht. there are posters everywhere and there is advertising on all their trucks.

wife goes in to enquire and is told 1-3 mb 490 baht, over this 590 baht. it was printed out on a piece of paper. why the big advertising campaign if the prices dont apply.

my current internet connection with them is only 2 mb and they still bill me 490 baht.

are there no set prices for tot service, do they generally just pull it out of their ass.

thanks for any info,

regards.

It looks like they some promos going; on a 12 month contract, months 1 & 2 are discounted.

So a 6 Mbps/512 Kbps line is 390 baht/month for the first two months and 590 baht/month for months 3-12.

If you satisfied the term of your current contract then you should be able to at least get the month 3-12 price going forward, so in your case they should bump you to 3 Mbps/512 Kpbs. Surprised your Wife couldn't figure this out by looking on the internet, reading the adverts or talking with TOT reps. but it can be confusing.

This approach is common practice in LOS, not just for internet, but mobile contracts too.

YOU have check the latest deals and apply for them, or you will be charged at the old rates..... :bah:
