Hi

Coming to Phuket in August and was wondering if there was any deep sea fishing trips that supply the tackle and the boats are in good condition.

Thanks, Mark.

Hi it will be no problem and there are a variety of boats available for charter and also a wide range of costs - PM or email me and I will be able to help out

Try epic charters in chalong....there is a bloke called simon there, he has a heap of boats of all shapes and sizes for charter. Its a small coffee shop 2 doors down from happy days on the Chalong pier road

if you look for infos, pm me.

in august you have a good chance to target sails.

right boat right crew

if you choose one of the local tour operator you will have a nice day out, swimming snorkeling and bottom fishing.

it's your choice.

Shame to see that you have had a bad experience, right boat right crew and there are many varieties of Sea Fish to be caught.

Most of the budget day out boats only troll for small tuna its a tourist thing (and most tourists are happy with that). If you want proper fishing go with one of the specialised charters depending on your budget.I catch Dorado,Wahoo,Cobia,Rainbow runner,Sailfish and Blue & Black Marlin,Barracuda, Tuna of course. I am lucky enough to have my own boat and friends with proper Sea Fishing Charters not bucket and spade brigade tuna trolls.

Rawai also has a fishing club the only IGFA sponsor club in Asia. Tight Lines next time out.

Thanks for the advise, I was hoping to get some good game fishing and not do the tourist trail for stickel backs (small spicky fish in uk). So where do I find the specialised charters that are willing to take myself and a friend to the good fishing grounds ? All I seam to get when I google is the offer of free snorkelling at some Island, which would be nice If thats what I wanted.

Thanks again.
