I subscribe to a newsletter and it says there is going to be a major buy of 1 million ounces within the next 72 hours. Today is June 29. They make some outrageous claims, so it would be interesting to see if this one is actually true. if anyone is keeping track of the prices, let us know if this prediction is accurate please. Nevertheless i take this claim seriously so i throw a calculation at his claim. In gold we talk about troy ounces pure gold(99.6%-99.9%). For 1 troy ounce weighs 31.1034768 grams and sells for roughly 1100 euros or 9400 Yuan thesedays(of course nobody smart calculates the dollar anymore).So the question is, is 1 billion Euro or 10 billion Yuan investing in gold would be good or bad to KRS1 who reads the newsletter he consciously subscribed to. I also look at silver ETF's and prefer to trade them (mostly SLV) over gold. Currently holding some SLV and looking to buy some more shortly. The silver ETF's I watch are SLV, PSLV, SSRI, and GPL. IMO with current price movements and the current market conditions and crisis, the 'claim' you mentioned would not be outrageous. take for example when Wall st tanked after lehmans collapse gold price increased substantially. I think the 72 hours are up. The outrageous claim is definitely NOT accurate. Looks like gold is down over the past few days. Maybe someone sold 1 mil ounces.
