Rather than start a new thread i thought I would ask the question here.

Has anyone who has applied in the past few months for FLR in the Uk had the application returned because of fee payment issues.

We have had my wifes returned because thay are saying that the payment was a issue.

I paid by my Credit card.. Made a phone call to the phone No on the letter And was told that I may have put a odd number on the form incorectly.

The lady on the phone told me to send postal Orders ( are thay for real )

Thay did return All the doc's that were sent. Exept the one that had m card details on So I cannot check that it was right or wrong

Did thay cock up or was it me ? It would be interesting to know if others have had the same problems.

And its not because the card does not have sufficiant credit available.

I will send it back today and try once again

You should send them a bankers draft I felt that it was hassle free

Ye sent the bankers draft and funds were taking from the account 2 or 3 days after they recieved the app. Which went very well wife got the visa no problem, just make sure u r well prepared.

When you say well prepared you mean ?

how long was it before you got your wifes visa ? days or weeks ?

The reason I wanted to pay by Creit Card was that I have the cash in a savings account.

I know the rates are not great but if we had to wait for 3 or 4 months thats interest lost for that period.

Plus i would know when they took the payment out and they would only do that when the application was being processed

They do give you the option to pay by Credit Card. So why not use it.

Of course if the person dealing with it hits the wrong key on the computer, your payment does not go through then you have the hassle of sending it back again.

its amazing they do that. if you were buying somthing from them they would be on the phone to ask you if you had made a mistake. With your card details.

I dont think it was me but without the payment page back I cannot argue.

why do they ask for your Phone No if they are not going to use it.
