Large Choice Of Cheap Furniture

Featured Replies

I'd like to know where I should go if I would like to find a large selection of cheap furniture.

Shelves, tables, chairs in all sizes and colors.

Is there some kind of megastore in/near Pattaya for that?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Pinky Jimmy's on Pattaya Tai, or some of the roadside shops on Sukhumvit between Pattaya and Ban Amphur.

Thank you

Couldn't find Pinky jimmy on Pattaya Tai, but found it on Pattaya Klang.

Yes, it is the kind of shop I am looking for.

Are there any others than Pinky Jimmy? I browsed his shop and could not find exactly what I want.

Went to Chokchai and Index Mall too, but the prices are too high for what I want.

Pinky Jimmys on Pattaya Tai is about 100m past the entrance to Duck square on the opposite side of the road, that is if you are comming from Sukhumvit. Huge big new building hard to miss!!

Big C north would be the one on second road near naklua?

Does "behind" mean as seen from second road?

Is that big furniture shop still inside central plaza?

Sorry for the many questions, I really would like to find it :-)

hmmm... all I can remember at that place is a shop selling beds and beddings.

Name is "in bed" or something.

I will have a better look tomorrow.

Try driving around Pattaya Tai, Pattaya Klang and Sukhumvit Rd. between Big C South and Pattaya Nuea, lots of shops in the city

yep, but I'd like a big one that would have about 30 different styles of shelves or tables... not looking in 25 small shops which all sell the same stuff.

Same like the electronics in Akihabara, Tokyo.

first shop: "new!!! the Sanyo XT45! 123000 Yen"

next one: "XT45 Sanyo, new new new: 122900 Yen"

next "XT45, 123149 Yen"

...

shop number n: "122995 Yen"

...

blah

thousands of shops there and the only useful ones are the small stalls in the covered area that sell electronic components one by one. the rest is :bah:

I love Asia - well, ok make that South-East Asia.

But some things are irritating.

Agreed, love SE Asia, but we still can't have it all. Good luck in your search though

If you go down the road between Big C and Sabai room, get to the end of the road and turn left then it's on yer right although the frontage is relevantly small compared to other places it extends a long way back from the road

Pinky Jimmy has quite a large selection.

I can add another well sorted shop.

Koncept is situated on Pattaya Nua, coming from the roundabout almost at the intersection with sai sam.

Prices are a bit higher than Pinky's but still reasonable.

Koncept has more stuff that will appeal to western taste though.

I found good options for what I need to buy, except for a type of shelves.

The kind I want are supported by two vertical panels which are situated nearer to the middle of the shelves instead of closing each side, so that the shelves advance freely into the air without side walls (not really sure if that's really clear, think of a # sign).
