Pattaya To Cambodia Border - 60 Day Visa Run?

I am looking for a reliable agent that does 60 day visa runs from Pattaya to the Cambodian border.

I have checked with a few "travel agents" who only understand 15 day visa runs.

They then get on the phone to discuss 60 day visas and then tell me prices ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 Baht with a 1 night stay at some casino.

Google Search has been a waste of time.

Also cannot find anything on this topic on your forums.

Please advise...

Go to Jomtein imigration in Soi 5 and ask you will get the right infomatiom from them . that to me sound like a pisstake from the company you called.

Thanks for your help.

Their website shows cost to be 8,500 - 9,500 Baht.

Depart Pattaya Soi 6 at 3am on Mondays and arrive back Wed. ~2am

Would like to find a more reasonable departure time and lower cost.

Anybody else have any suggestions?

Cambodia Inter are far and away the cheapest and best place. Many (most?) of the other places one sees around town just act as agents for Cambodia Inter and pocket the difference. The only exceptions are the "luxury" places which charge a lot more but dont seem to provide anything worth the extra expense to me.

I used Cambodia Inter twice but thankfully I dont need to do visa runs any more.

Verbally quoted the price at 7,000B and leave Monday morning at 3am.

Have to go to their shop to make the booking and pay.

Found another website that does Cambodia border runs (15 day visa on arrival) and 60 day visa runs to Vientiane, Laos (bus) and Malaysia (air).

I am sure you can only get 15 days at the border crossings .

These are one of the "luxury" services I mentioned. These places seem to charge between 400 and 700B more than they would at Cambodia Inter. I dont see that you get anything that's worth the extra cost.

If thats what the OP wants to do , he just needs to bus it to Hat Lek cross the border , stay a night in Koh Kong and come back .

No, because you still have to pay for the Cambodian visa, even if you only stay 5 minutes, as mentioned already by MJCM.

If you calculate the costs down to the last satang, I think you can save about 100B by doing the trip yourself on public transport rather than using Cambodia Inter. But it will take quite a bit longer and will be more tiring.

Personally for 100B I would rather pay them to do it and be back home by mid-afternoon. (Last time I went I was home just after 2pm as there was hardly any queue at the border.)

I'm on a marriage visa now so not used them for a year but

I've used Cambodia many times before, 1,800 baht and they pick you up at home (or close to) and deliver you back, Thai meal provided on return journey, basic mini bus (no video)

Crossing point used to be Bang Leam but now they seem to use Banpakkad, best duty free is on the big road up the hill, if they take you to the one near the casino they try and charge 100 baht more for a bottle of spirit but they will drop their price if you argue the point)

On the bus I went on, which left on Monday at 3am, everybody was on 60+30 day visa runs.

Stayed over night in Cambodia in one of the border town casinos, and departed Tuesday 6pm for Pattaya.

The passports were returned with a Thai 60+30 day tourist visa for 1 or 2 re-entries that was stamped in Phnom Penh.

Apparently a Cambodian agent can do all this for you; but, in Vientiane, Laos you must appear at the Thai consulate in person.

Indeed. No one with a 90 day multiple entry visa would want to take that bus: they just want to turn around immediately at the border. I'm sure that Cambodia Inter wouldnt put anyone with a mutiple entry visa on that bus anyway.
