JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) -- Indonesia's anti-terror police on Friday announced the arrest of eleven terrorism suspects in various places within the nation, the ANTARA news agency reported.

The Densus-88 anti-terror squad conducted different operations in various locations in East Java, Jakarta and West Java since Monday, according to National Police spokesman Anton Bachrul Alam.

On July 7, Achmad Izzmi, also known as "Adam or Boy," and Iwan Kurniawayan aka "Abdan Syakuron" were arrested in East Java by police investigators. In West Java, law agents detained Muhammad Ichwan, also known as "Zulkikar."

The Police spokesman added that two suspects were arrested in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta. The terror suspects were identified as Wandoyo and Asmuni. On Tuesday, Jakarta police detained Muhammand Irsyad, Ali Muhammad Akbar and Taufik Hidyat.

A third terror suspect was detained on Wednesday in Jakarta. Police identified him as Mansur Samin. Two more individuals have been arrested since, Priyatmo and Suparmin.

Police informed on Friday that evidence was seized in the operations, including six handguns, 14 magazines of ammunition, 272 bullets and other equipment. The weapons arrived from the Philippines through Indonesia's East Kalimantan.
