Motorbike rider killed in head-on crash in south Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Tuesday morning police from the Dongtan sub-station as well as rescue volunteers were called to the scene of a fatal road accident which had taken the life of a Thai female. The accident had occurred near a u-turn on Sukhumvit Road, not far from the entrance to Soi Greenway. At the scene, police and volunteers were confronted with a severely damaged pick-up truck, whose driver had fled the scene,

Nasty, but unfortunately there are probably over a thousand bike riders who go against the traffic on this section of Sukhumvit daily (from Toongklom Talman the wrong way) and the traffic is travelling very quick on this stretch, for the sake of 100m too!!:( ,

so it is clearly the girls wrong doing ( RIP )

but why did the driver flee the scene?

Because when a bike is involved, its still the car/truck/bus driver that has to 'pay'..regardless of anything else.

Drunk. Drugged. Carrying weapons. Carrying drugs. Carrying forgeries or myriad other illegal items. No licence. No ID. Illegal immigrant. Wanted by the police. Take your pick.
