July 25, 201114 yr I just extended my Non-immigrant "0" Visa at Sakon Nakhon. Things went very smoothly. I had of course the form and picture, copies of all my passport pages, a letter from the Canadian Embassy showing I had a monthly income of over ฿65,000, and copies of my tax forms from Canada to prove it. They then asked me for a copy of my wife's ID card and her House Registration Papers (they did not ask for a copy of our marriage certificate). Then they asked for a copy of my bank book, that's it. I would like to thank the poster on the Immigration forum who mentioned they wanted a copy of your bank book, otherwise I would not have had it. It didn't seem to matter how much money was in the bank. I deposited ฿30,000 that day for a total of ฿30,750. They extended my Visa for another year and marked RETIREMENT on it. All in all everything went very well. Issangeorge.
