Blaming The Government

Featured Replies

Today a man from the Electricity Company came to register meters and issue the bills. A lot of people in the neighborhood were surprised they had to pay. Previously people did not have to pay if they consumed less than 150 units. And suddenly today they were charged for 71, 77 or 99 units. Nobody understood.

My wife called the company and got the answer quickly. They were prepared.

Explanation: "Thanks to (prime minister-to-be) Yingluck (Shinawatra) as of now only the 5KW meter users ... in a triumphant voice.

Or: how do we give a government a bad reputation before it even is in place.

If you are located in Issan, good. Should teach them a lesson whom to vote for in the next election. ;)

They'll just find a way to blame the last lot.

Yea the 500 baht buy in won't cover the new electric bill. Lol

No problem, as they have been promised their new 300B/day minimum-wage immediately, so they can well afford to pay it, also according-to-DL "all Thais will be rich" just 6 months after the election, so that's only 5 months & 1 week to go ! Now that they are rich, they don't need the free-electricity for poor people, do they ? B)
