I need to get a certificate apostilled for a work permit application. Is this possible in Thailand? I spoke to a UK solicitor and she said the doc would have to be handed in personally by myself or a representative of myself which is a lot of hassle to arrange.

Thailand isn't a party to the international treaty creating the apostille, so you can't have documents apostilled in Thailand.
