I am the appointed executor of a friend that recently passed away. Part of his estate consists of shares held in foreign companies (FTSE listed). Can anyone advise how I can sell these on behalf of his spouse (they are transfered into her name). I have tried banks, solicitors and so called stock brokers with no success as they either only deal in SET listed shares or will only sell shares you bought through them.
