Getting A Multiple Entry Tourist Visa For Thailand In Cambodia

Featured Replies

Hello intrepid travelers,
My son needs to leave Thailand next week due to his 30 day Visa on Arrival will expire, and Immigration will only extend this visa for one week, one time. We went to Immigration and that is what the officer told him.
They suggested he get a new visa in Cambodia...and that is what he plans to do. He will fly to Phnom Pen on Wednesday...and apply for a 60 day Multiple Entry Visa at the Royal Thai Embassy on Thursday.
My concern is that Friday is a major Thai holiday, and the Embassy will definitely be closed. Can he get a Tourist Visa at a Thai Embassy in one day...perhaps if he pays an Expedited Fee? Otherwise, he will need to stay in Phom Pen for a 3 day weekend and then more days the following week. He is traveling by himself. Please advise.
He should contact an agent as they seem to be able to obtain evening of same day for a fee.

One thing , as above an agent can do it for him, If he flies in weds evening he needs find an agent and drop his passport off. I suggest Lucky Lucky motorcycle on Monivong rd. ( u can find it easy enough) then they will drop it off Thursday morn and he will get it back Thursday eve. It will cost EXTRA double entry is like $65. I think they will charge like an extra $25 or so. Don't forget ur pics
