If you take a “Songtaew” in Pattaya or other parts of Thailand, Thais pay 5 Baht and whites/foreigners pay 20 Baht at least. Give him a 100 Baht note and he will most likely hit the accelerator and your change will be a plume of smoke.

Have you been to Wat Phra Kaeo lately? (Or another tourist attraction). What is the entrance fee, 20 Baht for Thais and 200 Baht for whites/foreigners? Apart from the money don’t you just love the way you are corralled off?

I wonder what would happen if this practice were repeated on let us say the London Eye. Whites pay 1 pound and if your skin is dark then you pay 10 pounds.

If I am correct the word Apartheid is an Afrikaans word meaning segregation and it would seem Apartheid is alive and well in “The Land of Smiles.”
