October 28, 200520 yr About 4 months ago my microwave lost about 90% of it power and it was really frustrating because I really rely on it to reheat my tea.....but then the next day it was fine. Now just two days ago it happened again. I went nancing over to the microwave to reheat my tea and <deleted> all it took 4 minutes to get it back up to temp....you can imagine....but then.....THE NEXT DAY IT WAS FINE AGAIN. What do you think? was it a ghost? this is Thailand after all....last time I checked...I have to check once every 30 days.....its required.
October 28, 200520 yr If you really want to see a ghost, put a lighted candle in the microwave and then turn on the microwave.
October 28, 200520 yr Just remembered I had a similar problem with my microwave, one day it would work the next day nothing and then it would start again. I took it apart and it was full of Cockroach crap especially the circuit boards. I cleaned them up with a toothbrush and it has worked perfectly ever since. The smell was disgusting and made me feel sick for the rest of the day. Thanks for reminding me.
October 28, 200520 yr This kept happening to me when I was a chef. Turned out to be the knobhead kitchen hand who kept knocking the dial on to *defrost when he was wiping it down. Maybe Mrs Chownah is doing the same. what happens to a lighted candle in a microwave?? I have done the lightbulb floating in a jar of water one (it lights up) the raw egg one (it explodes) and the 2 forks one (put close to each other they spark across the gap) (they also get dam hot: boy I sure learnt that one the hard way)

October 29, 200520 yr Author Chownah, Whats the link for in your original post ?It goes to a search engine <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't put any link in my original post. I simply gave you the details of a major crisis in my life...that's all.....I think its important even though I haven't created a web site to advertise it.....but maybe you're right....it is important and has the makings of a good story...maybe I WILL start a web site for it....Thanks for the suggestion Thetyim. Its great ideas like this that make you one of my favorite TV members!!!
October 29, 200520 yr OK, a bit off topic, but microwave related. Why does ham spark when you microwave it? Kinda creepy I think. What is in this ham? I thought only metal sparked in the microwave.
October 29, 200520 yr This is getting creepy. I swear I'm not making this up. Three times I have noticed that your original post had the word Thailand highlighted in blue. It was a link. Today I clicked on it and after a verification page it went to a search engine. Now after reading your last post , the link has gone. There is a ghost on the forum

October 29, 200520 yr I think its following you now. Thanks for taking it off my hands. No problem, my pleasure. I have left it in the spare bedroom with a skipping rope, some dumb bells and a press up bench. I am told they are easy to exercise.
