Straying back on topic, I suffered a situation similar to what the OP described; someone put something in my glass - specifically, about ten bottles of lager, but it was my own carelessness, and I should not have allowed them to do it had I wanted to return home with my wallet.

My OP happens to be directed at the Chinese authorities that controls the production of such substances and all things manufactured in China and exported to the west. The packaging is clearly self explanatory (Oh wait... yes, that girl is clearly on a dance floor in a night club)..

As a second example, the millions of cartons of illegal counterfeit cigarettes flooding out of China to the west, which had abnormally high amounts of arsenic, lead cadmium, not to mention fiber glass, asbestos, rat droppings and human feces... These are not produced in someone's spare bedroom, these are produced and shipped westwards in 40 foot containers, from huge factories. Cigarettes are bad enough as it is.

If you know anything about China, to open any business, you have to get the nod from the local party headquarters, you need to be a card carrying member of the party, to open a big factory, you need to be courting the officials pretty high up. Same with all the counterfeit goods flooding out of China, it is ALL authorized by local government.
