South of Hua Hin or south of Pattaya are some quiet places to get away.

Pranburi or Bang Saray might have what you are looking for.

At Payoon/Phayun/Payun beach there's a resort with some new little wooden chalets with wifi, and a restaurant but they're 1000baht a night each. Very popular with Thais at the weekend.

But I guess your figure of 5-6000 baht is for monthly rental, and I'm not sure what is available for that figure round there. The nicest beach in that area is Phala Beach. It's a 2-hour car drive from BKK though.
