of course in Isan no need, so clever !

Some of the vendors on the street in Sukh Rd have a surprisingly wide range of stock.

A few months ago I bought some boxers from one of these places and they had some huge sizes, easily XXX or XXXXL, say 42 - 45 in waists. I was looking for shorts so didn't ask about other styles.

Ebay, UK is a good source and delivery to Bangkok is 5-7 days. My size is less but even the local xxl (when able to find) is often much smaller items mistaged (price is higher with the xxl tag) so have given up local purchase.

There is a Hanes Brand Underwear factory just south of Surin but apparently everything is manufactured for export. Ticks me off every time I pass the facility. Run by an Indian firm. Have not found western underwear in sizes for big guys in ten years of looking.

Have you tried a tent? lady near us could run you up a couple of pairs from one :whistling:

Have to say I'm with the Commando brigade on the thread-the thought of putting on something tight around the waist !!

Agh... Havent worn in 25 years.

XXXL underwear? Waist or....? :o

had 2lots sent from uk never arrived keep your eyes out for a fat postman wearing pants[,by george from asda]

Ever tried loosing some weight!

There's an XL clothing store, XL for Men, on the 3rd floor of the Silom Complex mall near Saladaeng BTS station that is devoted to big and tall clothing for western males... Same shop has a branch on the 3rd floor of MBK.

I haven't specifically shopped their underwear, but I pretty well recall their stock includes underwear... There's a separate TV thread on big and tall clothing outlets in BKK, and they are mentioned therein.

90% of the time small stuff gets through without tax. I buy all kind of fishing gear there. The only times i get stinged for tax is when its goes by DHL or something like that.

I can find a number of sellers on Ebay, UK who ship to Thailand at reasonable rates by mail and have never had any customs asked. Believe there is a one thousand baht exemption and most are small/low value paks.

Hmmmm. Buy products like underwear that were made in the fareast from eBay UK and have them shipped back to the fareast via the UK and maybe incurr import tax to return the items to their original country of origin.

Pratunam is the place to go, seriously.

Normally it isn't. Deleivered striaght to your door. You can ask the seller to write 'gift' on the package to be extra careful. Unless the item is sent registered mail the packages are only opened once in a blue moon by the Thai post office.
