I don't understand why a fridge manufacturer would allow an ingress for fruit flies, which I find hundreds of dead in my fridge within a couple of days regardless of a defrost and clean.

Experts, please....

Are they actually finding their way in or do they hatch from something invisible in such a cool climate?

I'm guessing it's not set cold enough....

I find them as well inside my freezer door sometimes. Lots of little frozen carcass….isis..isis.

Maybe suicide or they just fancy a frozen snack, who knows?

I'm not to bothered…….I don't think they eat much when they are in there.
