A mate is taking his girlfriend to new zealan for a wedding in November. They're going via Australia. We know the low down on the Australian visa, but how complicated is the new Zealand process?

We found out he has to go to Bangkok to do it in person, so I was wondering is it only a few days turn around? Or is it a few weeks like the Aussie embassy?

He's lived in thailandfor years and is on a retirement visa. If it makes any difference (I dont think it does) she is Lao in Thailand on a student visa. She has lived here for a few years herself.
