Uk Settlement Visa, House Move Question?

hi, my wife and 2 stepsons are here on settlement visas and we have recently moved homes, does anyone know are we suppose to inform immigration of this as regards future ilr etc, might be a daft question i dont know??

As far as I know the only time you need to inform the UKBA of a change of address is if they are processing a visa (for example applying for ILR from TLR). Obviously they need to be able to contact you and send back the paperwork to you.

There may be tighter requirements for non-settlement visas!

i would personally email the UKBA and advise them of the change

I have gone through the UKBA website especially the rights and responsibilities part and cannot find anywhere the requirement to tell the UKBA if you change address. It is perfectly harmless to do so but out of academic interest I would be interested to know where this is stated!

Does this apply to ILR as well as TLR?

i looked on the ukba website and did find a section with a change of address form but it says it is temporarily unavailable due to alterations but will be back soon, but it is not clear exactly what visas etc it is for?
