How Do You Say This In Thai

I was watching a movie last night that had a statement my g/f couldn't understand so I tried to translate it but i couldn't figure out how to translate the joke.

"I can't afford to pee in a place like this let alone eat dinner here."

ฉันไม่มีปัญญาที่จะซื้อข้าวที่นี่หรอก

Now my translation has the meaning but I couldnt' figure out how to add the joke into the statement, any ideas?

"I can't afford to buy food here."

But here goes:

ฉันยังไม่มีปัญญาที่จะแม้แต่เข้าห้องน้ำที่นี่เลย

"I can't even afford to use the toilet here."

I don't think there's any need to add "let alone eat dinner" because the meaning (and joke) would be understood from the context when watching the movie.

Thanks mate I do think i can't afford to eat here does have the same meaning though แค่ไม่ได้เปรียบเทียบ but I do like your translation. I find a lot of these jokes just don't translate well and I get lost trying to explain them.

Especially this one because you could say it so many different ways.

I couldn't even take a dump in this place

I can't even piss in a place like this

i couldn't afford a bread stick at a place like this

I find in colloquial Thai they tend to just simplify things but it may just be my lack of experience I know you've been here longer than I have.

In English using the words shit, piss etc may be acceptable for jokes. But in Thai it's kind of taboo.

It was because I uploaded some trailers for Thai R-rated movies. I did censor them, but apparently one of them showed like a second of exposed tits and it got flagged as porn.

Bastards! They could have just flagged it as "adults only".

The system at youtube is also very retarded in that if you get 3 strikes, your account is suspended and all videos removed automatically.

FUQ, I had over 700 vids there and didn't keep a backup copy of many. Many I also have to re-rip from DVDs and re-convert them so they'd fit the 640x360 youtube size and format.

I now have 2 new channels now, "SeeingMoleR" and SeeingMole0" as well as "SeeingMole" channel on Dailymotion where I'm able to upload those uncensored trailers in their full glory.

They did however reject a few trailers which were too raunchy, but without any retarded strike system like youtube.
