November 2, 201114 yr Normally I cross at Nong Kai but 90 days is up in just over a fortnight and I need to go to Pataya this coming weekend where is the closest crossing point. My trip will be Khon Kaen to Pataya & return
November 2, 201114 yr Chantaburi and Trat Province border with Cambodia, which is about a 3-4 hours trip from Pattaya. In these provinces there are a couple of Crossing Points (Most hassle free trip would be a visa run from Pattaya, of which there are many and cost around 2000 Baht) Edited November 2, 201114 yr by MJCM

November 3, 201114 yr Author BTW mij....PaTTaya has two 'Tees' would want you to get lost and turn up in some other town, would we now ? Thank you for your valuless response - I would imagine after posting you sat and had a little snigger - well done "small things amuse small minds". Of course you realise it should be two T's not two 'Tees' as I have no intention pf playing golf. :jap:

November 3, 201114 yr If you go up and down through the mountains, roads 304 and 331, you could do a detour to Aranyprathet (from Kabin Buri e.g.). As far as I can see from the map it is the closest border on this route. Seems quite a busy place unfortunately.
November 30, 201114 yr Whilst on the road detour to Aranyaprathet as KhunBENQ rightly says. There is a great market there too where you can buy anything for next to nothing.
