Hello all,

I'm returning to Thailand after a vacation visiting family here in the USA. I'm getting my Non-B visa from the Thai embassy, and I was just curious about the airplane tickets. When someone enters with a tourist visa, they usually have to show that they have a ticket to leave Thailand before they are granted entry. Is this the same with a Non-B visa? Or can I just buy my one way ticket?

If worst comes to worst, I'll just buy a cheap ticket to Cambodia or Malaysia from a budget airline, but I just was curious as to anyones experience with this.

Thanks!

Unless on a direct flight from Africa do not believe most people are asked to show anything on entry but airline might ask if you do not have a visa as visa exempt entry requires proof of exit paperwork. If you have any type of visa it should not be asked by airline or immigration.

Arrived with Ed. visa 2 years ago, and have arrived overland from Laos 3x with Non B visas and have never been asked for a ticket onward, or to show funds. Agree with Lopburi.

Cool, thanks guys!

Just arrived day before yesterday from Singapore on B-Visa. A return-Ticket is never requested as you come through immigration.

I've been here 20 years and have never ever known this to be an issue.

REM:you can change your 'handle' to "RELAX"; you certainly have nothing to worry about !

Have a nice journey & Happy Landings !

Cheers,

Jaap

Thank Mario and Lopburi, they have taught me most of what I have learned on TVF over the past two years. I was listening to them before I came to Thailand, after not having been here for 35 years.
