'Loop Hikes' Or 'Go And Come Back' Hikes Around Cm

Featured Replies

Hi, so ive been exploring CM natural beauties (aka Nature) for the past week ive been here. I drive a motorbike around so ideally i like to do short hikes or walk where i end up at the same point i started. So far, ive enjoyed these: the reservoir after 700 years stadium, the zoo, queen sirikit garden towards mae rim. Any more suggestions?I think i will go on the road to doi suthep tomorrow as i think there are hikes to be done in that area (waterfalls). Thanks. , ). Also, suggestions of nice scenic drives welcomed (like the one from CM to samoeng and then to Mae Rim). Cheers.

Chiang Mai hiking group goes at least once a week. They usually leave on Sunday mornings but have recently been doing midweek hikes too. They have a website at http://cmhike.com/ with details of upcoming hikes etc. I've been going for many years and enjoy the hikes and the company. Sanuk!

They have a useful gps section on that site too http://cmhike.com/gps-trails/

yup, i found this site by googling it and took a look at the hikes listed. Maybe other TV members have some more input. I'm usually just fine going on my own and enjoying nature silently, also it gives me more freedom re time to go at, pace etc. But who knows..
