Kicking Of My 2Nd Tourist Visa

Guys,

To kick of my second tourist visa do I have to actually go into Lao(pay for Lao visa etc etc) , or can I once stamped out of Thailand turn around in "no mans land" and go back in as a new arrival? Thinking of Chong Mek.

Would appreciate a valid response.

You could do that and be arrested for illegal entry and face deportation or you could enter other country and return with a stamp from that country (which Thai immigration will be looking for unless distracted). Land entry requires stamp from other country and is almost always checked.
