Rimmer Posted November 10, 2011 Share Posted November 10, 2011 Nong Khai Governor and Volunteers open Pattaya Food Distribution Center PATTAYA: -- A Province not affected by the ongoing floods have come to Pattaya to coordinate food supplies to those still trapped in the flooded areas. The Governor of Nong Khai Province and 100 volunteers from the area, located in the North-East of Thailand have travelled to Pattaya to set up a temporary food production facility in the grounds of a small University located North of Pattaya in the Lompok area. A decision was made to use the facility and produce food around the clock and transport it to the worst affected areas in East and West Bangkok. They hope to produce 6,000 individual meals per day over a seven day period. At the end of the 7 days they will re-assess the situation and continue if necessary.
