Daily Flood Locations Nov. 14Th

Featured Replies

Both frontage roads near to makro on rama 2 are starting to flood,, most side roads of the frontage road are flooded.

Makro side is not flooded to deeply best to drive on the main road or if you have to go down the frontage road use the middle of the road the water is not very deep there.

Nov 13 2011. Ratchadaphisek, Lad Prao, Pahonyothin and Mo Chit.

Clear signs of improvement on this side of the bags.

Suan Pak Soi 32 off Ratchapreuk Road. On the Bangkok side of Maha Sawat it is pretty dry, however as soon as you go over the bridge into Nontaburi it is still heavily flooded. In our Village about a kilometre from the bridge the water is now 1.5 metres deep. It has risen a good 25 cms in the last 72 hours after having dropped about 40 cms before that. It is pretty depressing reading about a lot of places where the flooding is receding and here it is still rising. sad.gif

thank you again. Your clips are more informative than those of all TV channels combined.

Great to see someone got an eye of what's important.

Do you mean the Makro on Kachanapisek just to the north of the Rama 2/Kachanapisek intersection?

Thank you for your time and effort and being willing to expose yourself to that toxic water to show TVF members some factual info. Much appreciated. Good video.

Really? You think so? All the TV channels combined, eh?

So ... what is it exactly that you think is important?

Flood info only please, no arguments.

Pattanakan Sois 65 and 69 after the bridges across the small canal into the Muang Thong moo baan in Pravet have above knee height water in the roads. In fact Soi 69 has had some water for almost a month but this is tied to the level of Klong Pravet Burirom as this road is below the edge of the canal. The Army and the Democrat party have been running trucks up and down the sois for the last couple of days, but I managed two trips in my pickup today.

Ramkhamhaeng soi 150 and the many sois off the main road are flooded to around knee level. We've got pumps going at it day and night and the levels are stable since 3 days. Ramkhamhaeng itself is dry.

i was out on the bike today at about 3pm from Sukhumvit 71 down ekkamai ramintra was all clear and dry. but much traffic. around kaset nawamin most of the sois were flooded about knee high or under, but the main road was dry. Nuan Chan was flooded and most of its sois were too, ramintra 40 was about knee deep or a little deeper so i turned around. Ladprao from big C to 101 was dry, ladprao 101 to the mall bang kapi was dry. srinakarin road was mainly dry but had some water coming up from the drains in places. The inside lane was ok but near the curb was getting higher than ancle deep in places. Pattanakan intersection was wet. on nut intersection had a little bit of water on the corner on the side going towards ladkrabang but the otherside going towards sukhumvit was clear and dry.

I don't know that hotel, but if it's on Sukhumvit Soi 8, it's in a dry area.

Travel advice

What is the best route heading north from Ratchadpisek / Sutthisan junction to Phisanulok on a motorbike.

Intend to leave AM Tuesday.

Big bike but low exhaust so 20cm max!

Any good advice welcome.

Tiff

Compared water level today on Krungthep Kreetha to a photo we took on Saturday and the water level seems to have dropped a few cm. Will have a proper look tomorrow morning to confirm.

You can connect a garden hose to your exhaust.

GM Link 14 Nov 2011 @ 2045: During the Thai PBS 'Thailand's Worst Flood' segment the hosts reported overflow of Khlong Bang Su at Soi Inthamara. Water volume, other details not given.

A bit off topic, but I feel compassion for those you have water streaming through their living room. Some for more than one or two months already :(:wai:
