Thai Airways A380 - Frankfurt First

Featured Replies

Interesting article on where TG will deploy their A380 due for delivery late 2012. Frankfurt first, then LHR and Australia.

I hope with the added capacity they are able to maintain double daily flights, the option is quite nice.

Perhaps use a smaller aircraft for a while, like the A340s, for the 2nd daily-flight to LHR, rather than risk losing their valuable slots at Heathrow ?

In an ideal world cut prices for BKK-LHR-BKK passengers, to the levels enjoyed by people starting their journeys in the UK, now that could win back some of the long-term-lost traffic !

TG are losing a lot of business due to Emirates operating A380 (up to Dubai) on the European route. Logical that they want to serve the continent first. Need to check the pricing though. :)

Could be that by end of 2012 Germany is the only European nation where people can still afford to fly anyplace. :ermm:

You might not be that wrong, a lot of budgets being squeezed, much job uncertainty
