Kanchanaburi To Pattaya

Featured Replies

Recently travelled from BKK to Kanchanaburi and the usual road-trip of around 2.5 hours took 5.5 hours - due, I guess, to flood diversions.

Was hoping to nip down to Pattaya for a few days, tomorrow, but my Thai lass says the roads are impassable (she can be prone to yell "the sky is falling" at times but, equally, she can be proven correct at other times - however implausible her claim had appeared, on the surface).

Does anyone know, for sure?

We flew in last night to Swampy and roads were high and dry. Can't tell you about the other areas through.
