November 18, 201114 yr Is there a mobile phone that lets me call overseas while hiding the telephone number I'm calling from? I emailed True, who said this was not possible with thier company. Any other company lets you do this? Thanks
November 18, 201114 yr Thai phone companies will not allow you to hide your number. Your best bet would be to get a local UK skype number and use that. That way it will show the call coming from whatever region of the UK you register for. That or just call using skype from your computer and it will simply show as a private number ?
November 18, 201114 yr No No... Chuck it after ransom has been paid in full! Amateurs.... get a new SIM chuck it after making the ransom demands.

November 18, 201114 yr I think AIS let you do it, but it is an additional service, and you have to pay extra.
November 19, 201114 yr Author Thanks for the info. I didn't think of using a phone card on my mobile. ... although the quality can be bad sometimes. I'll give it a try. I'm using Skype, which is reliant on good bandwidth - its good quality but a little expensive compared to my Thai mobile phone. I did buy a monthly subscription - unlimited landline calls for about £5/mo. Cheers .
November 19, 201114 yr Author >Use a phone card. it shows thier VPN number and not your phone number Is that a Thai VPN number? My boss doesn't want people to know I'm calling from Thailand.
November 20, 201114 yr Author Unfortunately no boiler room - I wouldn't be as broke as I am now - Checked out AIS - very expensive. i can call UK for 1B min using True. And there is no number blocking for overseas or other networks. But using a calling card via my phone is not so bad - and it doesn't show my Thai no - as long as I call a landline. If anyone knows a company that I can use that use - please let me know. Cheers
