Liverpool FC/Honda joint promotion

(The point being, for the satirically impaired, that just wearing a red shirt or red logos doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be beaten to death in the street)

And not many Hondas off the production line recently or in the future, These English premier league clubs are always out to take advantage of the thai infatuation with some football team, As a Brit I find it boring. Football in the UK about business not the game

Spot on used to be a sport now its business gone mad and based on the most shakey of foundations.

In the 1960's I used to watch Nottingham Forest a fair bit, they did not have a supporters club it was a sportsman club. Then they were run by a committee not a company board. I fyou wanted souveniers there was a shop but it was run by a couple of the players, good for them I thought. My how things have changed with the merchanise and finances.

The Premier League has done very well on the face of it but at a cost to the fans, its not their club anymore, it usually belongs to a body from another land.

Before I finished work I remember afamous Chelsea fan who was once an MP coming in and asked him what he thought of the new Chelsea owner ( R A) " Well you know what they say about rich kids and their toys."

The reds in the picture will finish in the top 4 by the way, good players but consistent enough and they cant get the capatain on the pitch enough to mount a challenge.

I like how Liverpool FC actively engages Thailand and Thai people though. Also if you subscribe to their Facebook updates, quite often there is something in there for Thailand, written entirely in Thai.
