gitanes
Greetings My son somehow caused an update to crash, I dont know if he ejected the cd or turned off the machine halfway thru the update. The machine is bricked and will not operate. There is a code but sadly I don't have those details. Question to those in the know: Is it fixable? Can it be reset to factory settings somehow? Or is it dead? Thanks

NHJ
it is not a drive update it is a system update that failed. have a look at that for a solution : http://www.factory-reset.com/wiki/XBOX_360 otherwise it is fixable using a jtag/usb nand read/write. beachyman
My gf did the same, you can get it fixed by reflashing at shops like at MBK, maybe fortune or panthip. Look at 4th floor up and see the xbox, ps3 signs. Should not cost more than 2-3000THB, I paid 1500THB.
