Non-B Visa To Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

I have a 1 year Non immigrant B visa which is coming to an end next month but will be staying in Thailand for another 2-3 months before I will be going home. Is it be possible to get a 60 day tourist visa in Penang even though I'm coming off a non-imm B visa?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a multiple entry visa or extension of stay from immigrations.

With a multiple entry you can make a border run on the visas last day of validity and get a bonus 90 day entry stamp.

I'm sorry I should have mentioned that earlier it's a multiple entry non-immigrant B visa...Not that I'm complaining but how does that work that I can get a bonus 90 days? My friend just told me the same thing who's here on a 1 year multiple non-ed visa she can get 15 months in total.

Thanks for the info Poorsucker you saved me a trip to Penang which I dread :P

Before the 'use before' date on the visa exit/enter for a new 90 day permitted to stay.
