Anyone know how far in advance a WP can be renewed? One of my colleagues will return home for a couple of months in March but her WP will expire while she's away so would like to do it before she departs. Thanks in advance.

Best check with the labour office, as it may vary a bit per office.

I heard of one now only extending up to 10 working days in advance. But maybe they allow you to apply in advance and give you a wp3 form so the extension of stay at immigration can be made, and the extension of the work permit can be done later.
