German Man Dies After Drinking Beer

A 47-year-old German DJ died in his room after drinking beer with his Thai and foreign friends.

Has everyone missed a big point here. There were other people present at the incident.

Post mortem is required procedure I guess.

Congenital disease, he should not drink , he did drink. Maybe not congenital ilness, but look at the sad case of one Mr George Best.

There is a real bunch of Sad Gits on TVN these days, who are willing to blame the problems in Thailand on absolutely anything ( eg the detainment of man connected with Pattaya girl jumping out of 7th floor window, even though witnesses report that she did jump, case over after maybe asking him why she jumped). Dont speculate before something happens, but criticise after wrong doings are known to have been done.

By the way, I am not in denial that things are very susceptible to cover ups in Thailand and as we all know, do happen on a regular basis, but the nature of comments in many of these posts just demonstrate, that everyone is so quick to jump to conclusions, on a mere slither of a newspaper report,

The first few posters have it all figured out so no need to speculate about possibilities. They are very smart these guys donot know the victim or his companion but have it down pat.

Well done... I watch holiday makers and residents drink on antibiotics and against advice from doctors on a regular basis, I couldn't express congenital disease in Thai but could certainly get the concept across!

Knowing my luck if I tried for congenital disease I'd end up in the papers misquoted as having an STD!

it is not harmful to drink while taking anti-biotics,................ thats a myth , only makes them VERY slightly less affective

I actually read that also somewhere, saying more british tourists die in Thailand than in any other country on earth. The mind bogles as to why Thailand. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it a couple of hundred in the last 5 yrs or so. I can't recall the exact number that I read, but I think it is up there.

highly doubtful the 18 yo thai girl was there to play board games, and it is likely the congenital disease is a heart issue since he is advised not to drink and he died that quick

either way, would be my chosen form of suicide, and i'm not saying this is suicide, but OD'ng on some expensive single malt scotch and/or getting f'd to death by a hot 18 yo thai girl

A German friend of mine was murdered by a local in Phuket last year, and the murderer has been charged and convicted.
