winner
I am using a dialup and modem but it is much too slow for my needs. I tried true but they don't have any available lines in my area. I have a TOT phone and met with them but service is still 2 Kilometers from my apartment. What other options do I have with my direct dial TOT phone except waiting for TOT to get here?? I don't know who else to check with. Thanks for any help.

Yozzo
Hi Winner Well if you have a direct TOT line you can use it with either CS loxinfo or BBlife. To check if you can use CS loxinfo take a look here: http://www.csloxinfo.com/adsl/index_en.asp If you want BBlife take a look here: http://www.isp-thailand.com/adsl/bblife.htm Right now BBlife check area option is under construction but it will we back online soon. I would recommend BBlife since they actually have some sense of ADSL and customer service. But currently they have closed for new customers!!! Yes where else would you find something like that in Thailand? But it make sense, they wont accept new customers before they are ready with there new gateway - and you wont find any other ISP provider doing that. BBlife actually knows by accepting more and more customers their backbone will get slower and slower, so instead of thinking volume only they also are thinking about quality. Other links to take a look at: http://www.adslthailand.com/ And the English board: http://www.adslthailand.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14 Cheers! Contact them via email and include your TOT fixed line number. The CSLoxInfo service look-up feature was accurate in my case. Two kilometers is well within DSL operating parameters, although it is unlcear if you are two km beyond the maximum limit, or 2 km from the serving exchange or nearest DSL remote cabinet? sierra01
I needed a telephone line in my house, when I moved in, True said 3 months for a line, I said ok but decided to try TOT as well, 3 days later True called me (my mobile) to ask when could they come to install a line! In Lampang TOT couldn't even give me an estimate as to when, TT&T did it inside a week. 3 months later a TOT van came to install a line, I think you can guess what my reply was!
