Tether Mobile Phone Using Usb To Macbook

Featured Replies

I am wondering how I can use my mobile phone via USB to connect to my macbook and use the internet. Basically use the phone as a modem.

is there any special dial codes, APN, or username/password?

The tether via mobile AP works no problems. Just turn it on and instant hotspot. But the USB tethering options. I check the box, and then on the macbook, i get a popup that "an device is not configured....would you like to configure device?"

Thanks for the help.

edit: basically I want to do something similar to this thread. . And it seems so far from another forum, they recommended sticking with mobile AP (wifi hotspot) and then use USB for charging the phone, lol.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for , I have a ZTE Blade mobile phone running Android 2.3.4 , and have a AIS 3G SIM , I connect my iMac to the internet via a USB cable from my Blade phone , using this app -
