Thai International Driving Licence

I have a full 5 year Thai Licence, can I get an International Licence from the Lands Office on Highway 36 to use in Cambodia/Loas etc.

I can get one from my home country but it would be more convienent from Thailand.

I'm almost certain, having been through the process a couple times, that you can only get them at the department of motor vehicles near Chatuchak in Bangkok.

They only do International Driving Permits at the main office in each province.

So the closest would be Chonburi, or heading up to BKK.

Cost would be 500 Baht.

However there are driving schools in Pattaya that will do it for you, if you don’t want to do it yourself.

Not sure how much extra they want for the work.
