Valentine
Does anyone know of or have have had "Supartz" joint fluid therapy for the knee (commercial url link removed by Moderator) I am trying to avoid knee replacement as I take warfarin as an anti coagulent which is a risk factor in any major surgical procedure. Thanks in advance for any info.
Sheryl
This is just a patented brand of hyaluronic acid, there are many brands of it. Injections of HA have long been used to improve mobility and decrease discomfort from osteoarthirits of the knee. Work well for some people, less well for others, usually need to be repeated about every 6 months. See http://www.webmd.com/osteoarthritis/osteoarthritis-of-the-knee-hyaluronic-acid-joint-injections?page=2 for more info If your knee problem is something other than osteoarthritis then that's a whole other matter.
