Pattaya drug users and dealers arrested by Police

PATTAYA: -- Banglamung Police in conjunction with officers from Region 2 arrested 10 people and seized a significant amount of class 1 drugs on Tuesday. The operation began with a tip-off that a drug delivery was about to take place on the Sukhumvit Road in Central Pattaya. Officers arrived and found Khun Egarak aged 28 who was carrying 1.2g of Crystal Methamphetamine, commonly known as “Ice”. He was escorted to his rented room in Soi Sukhumvit 36/1 where a further 8 people were found inside, in the process of consuming drugs. 8g of “Ice” and 188 Yabba Tablets were seized and the 8 individuals were arrested. Khun Egarak later confirmed that he would purchase his drugs from Khun Egapon aged 26. A search warrant was issued and Police then raided his house close to the Tepprasit Road weekend market site. He attempted to escape but was detained by Police pending a search which uncovered 30g of “Ice”. Police Colonel Somnuk, the Chief of Banglamung Police confirmed all 10 suspects would be charged with serious class 1 drug offences
