Poor driving skills blamed for South Pattaya road accident

PATTAYA: -- Poor driving skills have been blamed for a motorbike accident which occurred on the Pratamnuk Road in South Pattaya in the early hours of Thursday. Khun Sompon aged 49 sustained a suspected dislocated shoulder after her motorbike collided with an oncoming motorbike driven by Khun Taworn aged 42, who the injured woman claims was driving too fast. Witnesses claimed the woman was about to turn into a side road but turned too early straight into the path of Khun Taworn’s motorbike. He was uninjured; however damage was sustained to a parked Mini Cooper after Khun Sompon’s motorbike slammed into the side of it following the initial impact

Now that truly is a news flash: poor driving skills as a contributory factor in a road accident in Thailand. Who knew?

Another elephant in the room. (Hope it is a big room)

I would say poor driving skills and shear stupidity is a major contributing factor of all road traffic accidents in Pattaya, regardless of nationality...

I can't believe they are stretching this far for news. There's people being killed everyday on the roads here and they try to make news about a women who broke a collar bone.
