Yeah, Dave, I'd appreciate a photo, too. I tried to find that place when we lived on that side of town and ended up getting a song thaew to Washy Mashy.

Washy Mashy is on Huey Kaew, on the same side as Kad Suan Kaew, about 100 meters beyond the Shell Petrol station. It's near the soi that goes to Srithana condo and just before Srithana school on Huey Kaew -- as you're headed down Huey Kaew from KSK toward Doi Suthep.

They do a beautiful job and have never let us down when we bring in items with spots -- just so we point out the stains when we drop off the items.

Also they have a regular laundry service and real live HOT gas dryers to make your towels puffy, fluffy and sweet smelling.

Perfect is a very high quality dry cleaner, located on Huay Kaew just before the Canal Road intersection. Unfortunately i had a bad experience with a very nice pair of cream wool trousers that ended up with bleached white spots on it from another dry cleaner. Perfect was recommended to me by several local tailors and seamstresses.

You don't have to signal a social conscience by looking like a frump. Lace knickers won't hasten the holocaust, you can ban the bomb in a feather boa just as well as without, and a mild interest in the length of hemlines doesn't necessarily disqualify you from reading Das Kapital and agreeing with every word. ~Elizabeth Bibesco

There is a dry cleaner at Meechok Plaza if that is near you. Also Airport Plaza use to have one and I guess they still do. I forget the floor number, though.
